Black Tulip

Black Tulip 2005 is a new master piece from Tulip winery , that combines all the knowledge and love that accumulated during five years of quality wine making. This is a classic and powerful blend of 4 varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon (66%), Merlot (14%), Cabernet Franc (14%) and Petit Verdot (6%) - all from the Judean Hills.
2005 vintage was characterized by low yield and high quality. The grapes for this wine were hand picked, and their processing was done in extreme care. Each variety was fermented and aged in oak barrels separately. After six months of aging, when the wine has began to reveal its power and character, the wine maker has chosen the best barrels, from which he made the final blend. The goal was to get rich and dominant wine, fruity enough to age a long period in new French oak barrels.
The total aging lasted 30 months, and the bottles were aged for another 6 months.
This is an elegant wine with a very impressive deep color, prestigious aroma of ripe black fruits, vanilla and toasted oak. The wine has a full and velvety body, with a long special finish.
